Deliberately searching for and accessing “extremist” material, including via VPN, will be punishable by fines of up to $62.50 for individuals and up to $6,250 for organizations. This measure is aimed at strengthening control over online activity.

Investigative authorities are granted the right to suspend banking operations on accounts for up to 10 days. Banks are required to promptly provide information about transactions, which strengthens the state’s control over financial flows.

Individuals and organizations recognized as foreign agents lose the right to engage in teaching or public awareness campaigns for both children and adults. Violations are punishable by fines of up to $6,250.

In moscow and moscow region, foreigners are required to register via the “Amina” mobile app, providing geolocation data. This step is aimed at strengthening control over migration processes in key regions.
