Chair of the European Parliament’s Committee on Security and Defence, Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann believes that Germany has a duty to clearly state its readiness for possible peacekeeping efforts in Ukraine.

“I would strongly recommend that every European Union member state and every European army maintain close and high-quality relations with Ukraine, because now we can only learn from Ukraine. The Ukrainian Army is de facto the only one in Europe that is currently fully combat-ready and proves it every day. It has true experience of warfare on the modern battlefield,” said President of the Pan-European Movement of Austria Reinhard Kluczek.

During the period of martial law, Ukraine has received a total of 18,454 tons of international medical humanitarian aid worth UAH 21.52 billion.
