“Our Register of Damages has already received more than 170,000 claims for damages caused by russia’s aggression, and new ones are coming in every day,” said Secretary General of the Council of Europe Alain Berset, commenting on the status of the Register of Damages caused by russia’s aggression in Ukraine.

Under normal circumstances, freight rates on this route range from $250 to $400 per 20-foot container. Thus, the insurance surcharge may exceed several times the cost of the shipment itself.

The terminal in taman belonging to “efko”, one of russia’s largest vegetable oil producers, has suspended operations. The “taman grain terminal complex” also halted operations last week and has not resumed them yet.

Poland’s Consulate General in Grodno has issued a warning about the dangers of traveling to belarus, citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland, which maintains the highest, fourth-level travel advisory for the rb. The consulate warns that such trips may be especially risky for Poles who also hold belarusian citizenship. Under belarusian law, such individuals are considered exclusively citizens of belarus.
