National Defence Academy of Ukraine

Kyiv-Mohyla Business school

University of Economics and Law

Ph.D. in Military Science.

Career:

Held a variety of positions across the Armed Forces of Ukraine both in Ukraine and abroad. Combat veteran.

2015 – 2019                   First Deputy Chief of the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine – Deputy Chief of the General Staff for Intelligence.

2019 – 2024                   First Deputy Chief of the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine – Assistant to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for Intelligence.

Since March 26, 2024 –  Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine

(Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 189/2024).

Andrii ALIEKSIEIENKO

First Deputy Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine

Biography

Born July 29, 1963 in Chernihiv region.

A graduate of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

Worked in different posts at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

November 27, 2017, by the Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 389/2017, Andrii Alieksieienko was appointed First Deputy Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine.

March 16, 2019 - June 11, 2019 — Acting Chairman of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine.
