A declassified paper “On the Former General Lipko”, recently found in the Branch State Archive of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, eventually led the researchers to the State Archive in Chernihiv region. The investigative case file on the “Former General” found there, with scanty personal data, references and interrogation protocols, unfortunately, does not allow us to recreate the entire life of an extraordinary personality and a true Ukrainian patriot.
