The Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine continues the series of podcasts “Unveiled History”,  dedicated to active figures of Ukrainian emigration of the 20th  century.

The second story is aboutYakiv Makohin, the founder of the Ukrainian Press Bureau in London, who was considered an American, English or some other spy. In the documents of soviet secret services, he was listed as “a Ukrainian nationalist figure in the service of the British Intelligence Service”.

Ya. Makohin donated his own funds to support the Ukrainian national liberation movement and drew  international attention to Ukraine, had supporters in both Houses  of the British Parliament, cooperated with political figures of the world and Ukrainian emigration: Yevhen Konovalets, Yevhen Onatskyi and the head of the UPR Government in exile Andriy Livytskyi.
