Message of Congratulations from the Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine on the Day of Defenders and Defendresses of Ukraine

"There are days when you feel especially strongly who the country relies on. On those who are on the front lines today. On veterans who have already gone through their war. On generations of Ukrainians for whom freedom has always been not an abstraction, but something worth fighting for. October 1 brings together the Day of Defenders and Defendresses of Ukraine, Veterans Day, and Ukrainian Cossacks Day. And there is a certain logic to this — different generations, but one tradition of serving and defending their land. Thank you to everyone who is defending Ukraine with weapons today. Thank you to veterans for their service, experience, and strength. We remember everyone who gave their life for our freedom. Strength to those who are in the ranks today. Support and respect to those who have returned from the war. Happy holiday, defenders of Ukraine". — Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine Rustem Umerov.
