The War Returns to the rf: The kremlin Arms “russia’s post” Against Drones
9/10/2026

The government of the rf has been forced to equip “russia’s post” employees with means to counter drones – prime minister mikhail mishustin has signed a corresponding decree. This decision is yet another striking example of how the war unleashed by the kremlin against Ukraine is now returning to russia’s territory, destroying civilian infrastructure and disrupting the daily lives of its citizens.
According to the document, special equipment for neutralizing aerial, aquatic, and ground-based drone systems has been added to the postal service’s inventory. At this, russian authorities were unable to clearly specify either the specific types of equipment or the list of employees who will be authorized to use it. In effect, a civilian postal service – which previously had only basic personal protective equipment and service weapons for cash collectors – is being plunged into chaotic militarization.
In an attempt to cover up the consequences of its own invasion, the russian government is frantically granting the right to shoot down UAVs to just about anyone – from private security firms and the security services of state-owned corporations to “sberbank” cash collectors and postal workers.
Instead of ending the war, the kremlin prefers to turn its own country into a completely militarized camp. Further demands from big business to allow the use of large-caliber weapons, lasers, and the mobilization of reservists to protect enterprises only confirm that the aggression against Ukraine has permanently deprived russia of security, forcing civilian services to prepare for combat operations right at their own workplaces.
