The Council of the EU has decided to extend by 36 months – until 22 September 2029 – the restrictive measures against individuals responsible for undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine. The current restrictive measures apply to over 3,000 individuals and legal entities and include travel restrictions for individuals, the freezing of assets, and a ban on providing funds or other economic resources to individuals and organizations on the sanctions list.
US President Donald Trump has stated at the UN General Assembly that, if necessary, he is prepared to apply a new sanctions law against russia in order to bring about a swift end to the russian-Ukrainian war. The US President has also called on putin to end the war with Ukraine.
Canada and Norway are actively working to ensure the effective implementation of security guarantees for Ukraine. This is stated in a joint statement by Prime Ministers of Canada and Norway, Mark Carney and Jonas Gahr Støre. “Canada and Norway remain steadfast in their support for Ukraine and its struggle for independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity. Norway and Canada continue to work with partners to fulfil their commitments regarding security guarantees for Ukraine, in particular by strengthening military support and facilitating reconstruction efforts, whilst coordinating sanctions,” the document states.
The EU’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas has stated that the international community must help restore the global trade route through the Black Sea. “Grain from Ukraine feeds people all over the world… The EU calls for an end to the attacks and for the flow of grain to be restored. Food must never be used as a weapon of war,” Kallas emphasized.
“The war in Ukraine will not end in russia’s victory, as the russian army is faring poorly on the battlefield,” said US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

Luxembourg continues to contribute to humanitarian demining in Ukraine and supports peacekeeping operations, humanitarian missions and programs to protect children affected by armed conflicts, said Grand Duke Guillaume V of Luxembourg.

From a technological point of view, you are now at the forefront of the defence industry.
