The International Register of Damage Caused by the Aggression of the rf Against Ukraine (RD4U) has opened for submission all 43 categories provided for in its mandate. From now on, claims can be submitted under 21 categories for individuals, 11 categories for legal entities, and 11 categories for Ukraine. The Register has already received approximately 195,000 claims, more than 65,000 of which have been entered into the Register, while the rest are still being processed.
The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) has called on the Organization’s member states to allocate at least 10% of their funds earmarked for Ukraine’s reconstruction to the rehabilitation and reintegration of veterans. “Supporting veterans is one of the most important social challenges facing Ukraine,” the resolution states.
The European Commission is considering proposing “gradual integration” into the bloc’s single market to candidate countries, which would include unimpeded trade and access to research programs while their applications are under review.
“Our message to our Ukrainian friends is clear: implement the agreed-upon reforms so that we can continue to provide you with financial support,” said European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos.
Ukraine is set to receive three F-16s from Belgium by the end of 2026.

Minister of Defence of Belgium Theo Francken has stated that Europe – and Belgium in particular – must strengthen its air defense, notably with the help of Ukrainian technology, in order to withstand russian hybrid threats.
